Brife Introduction:

Remote meter reading system used technology for many years have been verified, the system mature and stable. System equipment using high-gain omni-directional antenna with signal propagation ability, coverage area, the signal does not appear dead ends and blind spots, has a strong on-site adaptability, meter reading success rate of 100%, and compared to the same meter reading system It has a structure adaptive network, free debugging, maintenance-free characteristics.


1. Electronic Water Meter

  • No power at normal time, and the meter should be powered during reading time
  • Electronic part is separated from mechanical parts without affecting measurements.
  • the display method of mechanical measurements is not changed so that the user can read the water consumption visually.
  • Photoelectric direct-reading technonlogy can read the value in the meter window.
  • The wiring is bus-mode, sampling method is character code reading and then output as digital signal.
  • The data readout by electronic way is the same with mechanical way and the error ratio is almost zero.

2. Concentrator: 


2.1 Data Collection Function

The concentrator read the data from the water meter at regular time automatically trough M-BUS line based on preset meter address (physical address) , store the current and historical data and communicate with main station

2.2 Each Concentrator can read 320 pieces water meter

It forward the control command of station to open/close the meter with electric valve.

2.3 Data Storage Function

Concentrator have built-in large volume FLASH with power-off protection function, can store the data more than 10 years. The data will be checked once being stored to avoid being sent with invalid format.

Concentrator also can store the technical parameters meter address and communication protocol etc., which are sent by main station or HHU.

2.4.RTC Function

The built-in RTC (real time clock) in the concentrator meet the different stepped tariff requirement. RTC set and check the time through main station.

2.5. Data Communication Function

It has four communication interfaces to realize the communication among meter, PDA and main station.

Each interface can connect with 80 pieces meters and 320 pieces in total.

Two RS485/232 interfaces is to realize the communication between lines and main station.

2.6. Data Collection And Process

Read the data displayed on the screen of the meter at the fixed time

Read the data displayed on the screen of the meter regularly.

Calculate the current-month water consumption.

The water consumption in the fixed reading time ( the time can be set)

Calculate and analysis the data to judge if the water consumption is abnormal.


3. AMR2100 Main Station


3.1 Communication Mode

RS485 line communication between mains station and concentrator

3.3Reading Method

Main station will read the data out of concentrator.

Concentrator read the data at the fixed time and store them. The main station will send command to read the data in the concentrator through serial channel and store them in the database.

3.4 Main Function


Based on the different zones, you can select the concentrator to read and click on “read now”. The data reading and acquiring of New J10 concentrator is separated, it just display the reading status is failed or sucessful.
