1.1 Operating principle & Constitute

CG-L-4 Digital M1 Card Prepaid Gas Meter is a measuring product which reach&develop by our company. Based on diaphragm gas meter, it integrates micro control unit, smart card operation system and new electric valve. The system, with smart card as medium, handle data transmission between sales management system and prepaid gas meter, to realize prepaid and automatic measure of gas using.

The product is suitable for piping gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, marsh gas and etc. It should be paid first, and then the gas can be used, which reduce the workload in charging and managing. The product is widely used in enterprise and residential building. With advantages of lower consumption, stronger anti-interference, higher integration, more reliable, longer life and easier in installing, it is the best choice for measuring gas.

3. Instruction

For gas meter, the volume which used is measured in up way, and the rest money is measured count down. The minimum measure unit is 0.1m³.

Normally, the gas meter is in sleep mode, and the LED would twinkle every 5-10 seconds. If so, shows the gas meter is in working.There is no need to put M1 card in the working area of gas meter all the time. The user just needs to put M1 card in the working area when charging or wanna to check the state of meter,wait for 3s to activate gas meter, and then the LCD would display s card reading prompt, rest amount, unit price, then go back to sleep mode automatically.

4. Install and Use

4.1．Gas meter should install at drafty place, which is at least 1.5m from the source of ignition.

4.2．Install in bedroom,bathroom is forbidden.

4.3．Testing under seal state, the pressure should not max working pressure of gas meter.

4.4．Using open fire to leak hunting on pipeline is forbidden.

4.5．Before ignition, the air in gas meter and pipeline should be evacuated completely.

6．Avoid from strenuous vibration, collision, inversion in transportation, no sundries can be in the meter, install valve first.

5. Maintain

5.1 User cannot destroy the lead seal of gas meter, if any abnormal, please call gas company for checking.

5.2 Inspect the gas meter in regular period, the the abnormal situation can be found and handled on time.

5.3 When the battery is low, please call gas company for replace.

5.4 Gas meter belongs to measurement tool, it should follow relative rules.

5.5 About the situation for difference between electric part and machinery part. According to relative rules, for the smart meter with both electric part and machinery in gas meter, if damages of electric part which cause difference between electric part and machinery part, choose the machinery part valve.

5.6 About negative problem. When the rest amount in gas meter is 0, and user can still use water because of problems of unclosed valve, the gas meter will record the consumption, and so “Rest Amount ” display negative, means for user’s overdraw consumption. When user purchase at next time, it should be reduced at first, no cost loss for manage department. If individual user didn’t purchase gas for a long time or there is abnormal in consumption, the manage department should go for checking on time. Loss which caused by neglect of checking and managing, the supplier won’t take responsibility for that.
